Education Consultant—China Region
About the PositionA US-based international education consulting company is looking for bilingual Chinese with a passion for education! Unlike agencies which simply place international students in American schools, we provide mentorship to students throughout their entire study abroad experience. Timing is flexible with high growth potential for the right candidate. The major responsibilities of the Education Consultant—China Region include:
• Maintain strong communication between China-based students and parents, and US-based education consultants
• Management of American-bound student application forms, procedure and deadlines (high school, undergraduate and master’s programs)
• Draft necessary reports and update student records
• Exhibit strong familiarity with American schools and application process
• Engagement in research projects related to academic counseling or school applications, including contributions to company marketing materials
Required
• Bachelor's degree from competitive university;
• English fluency;
• Exceptional communication skills;
• 2-5 years’ experience helping students apply to American high schools, undergraduate and master’s programs;
• Ability to meet hard deadlines;
• Dedication to client service;
Location: Beijing
Salary: RMB 6,000 base pay, subject to a 10% raise after a 2-month probationary period, and year-end bonus
